For secondary school students: discovering the arts and culture
Artistic and cultural education
The aim of artistic and cultural education (EAC) is to encourage the participation of all children and young people in artistic and cultural life, through the acquisition of knowledge, a direct relationship with works of art, encounters with artists and cultural professionals, and artistic or cultural practice.
The Public Relations Department issues calls for applications from artists who have graduated from the Villa Arson to take part in EAC projects in the form of practical art workshops with pupils or students who have already benefited from a program of exhibition visits, studio discoveries and meetings at the Villa Arson. The workshop proposals are designed by the artists in line with the issues and approaches they deploy in their artistic practices.
