School of Art

An Institute of Higher Education in the Arts
As an École nationale supérieure d’art, Villa Arson has a single arts department, which is home to approximately 230 students on three- or five-year courses. Its educational approach, which is overseen by a staff comprising artists, art historians and theorists, as well as around 100 external teachers, aims to provide personalised academic pathways.
The school trains artists and professionals recognized throughout the worlds of art and culture (photographers, designers, filmmakers, scenographers, managers, art facilitators, editors, artistic directors, directors of arts venues, etc.).
Villa Arson offers students the chance to pursue their education at an institution which is also dedicated to the production and diffusion of art. They therefore benefit from the presence of numerous artists and researchers either in residence or visiting as part of the art center’s events program.
