To illustrate his point, Marc Az\u00e9ma invites you to accompany him through space and time, on a journey to the origins of art\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Marc Az\u00e9ma<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Born on 9 March 1967, Marc Az\u00e9ma is an archaeological researcher specialising in the study of prehistoric art and a member of the Chauvet scientific team (2001\u20132017). He is also a documentary film director specialising in new imaging technologies (3D, virtual reconstructions of archaeological remains, animations, etc.). He is also director of the RAN (Rencontres arch\u00e9ologiques de la Narbonnaise).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Combining these two specialities, he traces the history of cinema back to the Palaeolithic era by showing animations created by the frequent juxtaposition and superimposition of figures in cave art and prehistoric decorated objects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This idea is presented in films that have received numerous awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Technical details<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thursday, 20 November, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Free admission<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Grand Amphitheatre of Villa Arson<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Address: Villa Arson, 20 Av.
