Preventing discrimination<\/strong> and gender-based and sexual violence<\/h1>\n\n

<\/p>\n\n

Questioning and combating the various forms of discrimination and harassment, transmitting a culture of equality to change representations and behavior – these are the major challenges of this mission. <\/p>\n\n

The prevention of all forms of sexist and sexual violence, discrimination and discriminatory harassment must be developed through dialogue between those who study and work at the school. <\/p>\n\n

We need to set up training modules on equality, and discussion forums on stereotypes and discrimination mechanisms. Learning together, students and staff alike, to analyze and decipher behavior is fundamental to transmitting a culture of equality and combating sexism, racism and paternalism. The whole community needs to know how to spot discrimination and power asymmetries, and how to react when confronted with them.<\/p>\n\n

Villa Arson’s ethical charter for the prevention of all forms of discrimination and asymmetry of power was drawn up by a working group open to all students and members of the teaching, administrative and technical teams.<\/p>\n

Reporting system <\/h3>\n\n

Since the start of the 2023\/24 school year, a reporting system has been set up with the Ega\u00e9 group. Groupe Ega\u00e9 is a consulting, training and communications agency specializing in gender equality, anti-discrimination, diversity and the prevention of sexist and sexual violence. Each year, a training session including a presentation of the reporting system is scheduled as part of the back-to-school program. <\/p>\n\n

External legal and psychological support unit <\/h3>\n\n

Students in higher cultural education benefit from legal and psychological support<\/a> in the event of acts of violence, discrimination, sexual harassment and gender-based violence. Since the start of the 2022\/33 school year, situations involving moral harassment, threats or any other act of intimidation have also been taken into account.
