{"id":64955,"date":"2025-05-21T15:54:01","date_gmt":"2025-05-21T13:54:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/villa-arson.fr\/actualites\/2025\/05\/appel-a-candidatures-residences-magnetic-4\/"},"modified":"2025-05-21T16:05:39","modified_gmt":"2025-05-21T14:05:39","slug":"appel-a-candidatures-residences-magnetic-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.villa-arson.fr\/en\/actualites\/2025\/05\/appel-a-candidatures-residences-magnetic-4\/","title":{"rendered":"Magnetic 4 residencies call for applications is now open"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Magnetic<\/strong>&nbsp;is a Franco-UK&nbsp;initiative that brings together ten institutions in a program of artist residencies between France and the UK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Artists from one of five regions in France (Bretagne,&nbsp;Hauts-de-France,&nbsp;\u00cele-de-France,&nbsp;Nouvelle-Aquitaine, PACA) are invited to apply for the residency in the associated UK nation, and artists from each UK nation are invited to apply for the residency in the associated French region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Magnetic 4 offers&nbsp;<strong>2 to 3-month<\/strong>&nbsp;residencies&nbsp;tailored to the needs of the host organization, a monthly stipend of&nbsp;<strong>\u00a32,100&nbsp;\/&nbsp;2&nbsp;500&nbsp;\u20ac<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>individual accommodation and workspace<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>curatorial&nbsp;mentoring<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>international networking<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The call for applications is open until<strong>&nbsp;July 14, 2025<\/strong>, with residencies starting in&nbsp;Winter 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applications can be made via the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/fluxusartprojects.com\/apply\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fluxus Art Projects<\/a>&nbsp;website, where&nbsp;you&#8217;ll&nbsp;find all the&nbsp;schedule,&nbsp;selection criteria&nbsp;and access information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Magnetic is supported by the&nbsp;Institut&nbsp;fran\u00e7ais du&nbsp;Royaume-Uni, the&nbsp;Institut&nbsp;fran\u00e7ais, French Ministry of Culture, French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, Arts Council England, Creative Scotland, Arts Council of Wales\/Wales Arts International, Arts Council of Northern&nbsp;Ireland&nbsp;and the British Council.
