These partners are joined by the Institut fran\u00e7ais in Paris, the French Ministry of Culture, and the British Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2026, Magnetic brings together ten leading arts institutions: five in France\u2014CAPC in Bordeaux, Frac Bretagne in Rennes, Frac Grand Large in Dunkirk, Villa Arson in Nice, and B\u00e9tonsalon in Paris\u2014and five in the United Kingdom\u2014Wysing Arts Centre in England, Flax Art Studios in Northern Ireland, Cove Park in Scotland, Aberystwyth Arts Centre in Wales, and Gasworks in London, England.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Magnetic is gradually building an expanding network of partner residencies that share common commitments and values.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Key features of Magnetic:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A structured, long-term bilateral cooperation programme.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A selection of artist residencies linked to eight decentralized arts institutions and two in London and Paris, all sharing common values.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contemporary social and environmental issues lie at the heart of the programme: artists develop their work in response to each specific context\u2014geographical, historical, social, or artistic.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Each artist receives a minimum monthly grant of \u20ac2,500 for a two-month residency, along with curatorial support, accommodation, and studio space.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tailor-made residencies, designed in consultation with curatorial teams, enabling artists to engage with a wide network throughout their stay.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each residency is based on a tandem partnership between a French region and a UK nation. Villa Arson, located in the R\u00e9gion Sud, is partnered with Cove Park in Scotland. Artists from the R\u00e9gion Sud are invited to apply for the residency at Cove Park, while Scottish artists are invited to apply for the residency at Villa Arson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The call for applications is open until <strong>2 June 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applications must be submitted via the Fluxus Art Projects website, where you will find the schedule, selection criteria, and accessibility information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Magnetic is supported by the Institut fran\u00e7ais du Royaume-Uni, the Institut fran\u00e7ais, the French Ministry of Culture, the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Arts Council England, Creative Scotland, Arts Council of Wales\/Wales Arts International, Arts Council of Northern Ireland, and the British Council.
